As part of an ongoing public health initiative, the Banswada Municipality in Kamareddy district organized a Friday Dry Day Awareness Program to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria, and chikungunya. Municipal sanitation teams visited residential colonies, inspected areas with stagnant water, and encouraged residents to maintain clean surroundings.
Officials appealed to the public to empty water containers, clean coolers, dispose of unused tyres and plastic waste, and ensure that no stagnant water remains around homes. The awareness drive emphasized that community participation is essential to keeping Banswada clean, healthy, and free from seasonal diseases.
